About Word Search
Word Search puzzles have a sneaky cognitive benefit — they train pattern recognition in two directions at once. Your eyes scan the grid while your mental dictionary cross-references against the word list. Both happen unconsciously after a few rounds.
Speed tips
- Look for the rare letters first. Q, X, Z, J — there are usually only 1-2 in the whole grid.
- Scan diagonals last. Most words are placed horizontally or vertically.
- Double-back-search short words. Don't miss "POP" because it's spelled backward as "POP."
How to play
Drag your finger or mouse across letters to select a word. Selected letters highlight in raspberry. Release to check the word against the list — found words turn green and stay highlighted on the board.
