About Bubble Pop
Bubble Pop is "SameGame" — a 1985 puzzle classic that's been ported to every platform that can render colored circles. The simpler the rule, the deeper the strategy.
The math behind the score
Score is group size squared. A 3-bubble pop = 9 points. A 6-bubble pop = 36 points. A 12-bubble pop = 144 points. So saving up large groups is exponentially worthwhile.
How to win
Don't pop the first 2-group you see. Look for chains where one pop sets up a much bigger pop. The board has only one path to a high score — the path that pops the largest groups, in the right order.
How to play
Click any group of 2 or more touching bubbles of the same color. They all pop. Bubbles above fall down to fill the gap, and empty columns shift left. Larger groups score quadratically — a 10-bubble pop is worth 100 points, not 10.
